We struggle to understand, to forgive; but in successfully doing so, we raise the Light back to Love.

Words to live by!
"There are many religions seeking to bring comfort and happiness to humanity, just as
there are many treatments for a particular disease. All religions endeavor to help
living beings avoid misery and find happiness. Although we may prefer one religious
perspective to another, there is a much stronger case for unity, stemming from
common desires of the human heart. Each religion works to lessen suffering and
contribute to the world; conversion is not the point. I do not think about converting
others to Buddhism or merely furthering the Buddhist cause. Instead, I try to think of
how I as a Buddhist can contribute to the happiness of all living beings."

In Remembrance of you, Daddy...
No matter what, I will always think of you, Daddy, whenever the subject is Lake Tahoe.

All You Need is Love!

What is that magical feeling in the air?
And Spring arose on the garden fair,
Like the Spirit of Love felt everywhere;
And each flower and herb on Earth's dark breast,
Spring rose from the dreams of its wintry rest.

It's easier than you think...
Even if you have been hurt deeply... can you let it go and forgive?
Can you fill your heart with love instead of anger?

What inspires you when things are tough?
This tiny Australian frog is amazing...
In times of severe drought in the harsh Outback, it changes its body to become
a sort of watery cocoon, and buries itself in the mud
to wait for the rains.
It does not worry or fear about what it does *not* have...
It looks to the future for the changes that *will* come.
Can you embrace change without fear?

What did you discover on your journey today?
Did you make a new friend?
Did you stop to smell the flowers in the field?
Did you stop to smell the flowers in the field?
Did you notice the vivid serenity of nature all around you?
Did you help a stranger who was lost?
